St. Louis Fire/Police/City Hall Complex Emergency Generator Project

On behalf of the Mid-Michigan Community Fire Department the City of St. Louis will receive proposals for furnishing and installing a new 60 kW emergency generator and related equipment at the St. Louis Police/Fire/City Hall Complex. New generating unit shall be a natural gas fired 60 kW Cummins or approved equal. Project shall include furnishing and installing an accompanying 225A service rated automatic transfer switch and 225A main panel. Also included in this project is removal of old service disconnect equipment in basement and reconnection of existing disconnects for heating and cooling equipment. Scope shall include required permitting, demolition of retired equipment, rigging equipment, applicable sales taxes and project cleanup. All work shall comply with applicable electrical and mechanical codes. Existing generating unit and transfer switch equipment shall be salvaged for use by the Owner. Disposal of other demolished items shall be the contractor's responsibility. Base proposals shall include installation of a concrete pad conforming with the generator manufacturer's specifications and reconnection of existing gas piping to the new generating unit.
