Tues. Nov. 7 Election of St. Louis Mayor & City Council Members

Registered voters in the City of St. Louis will be voting in the City Hall Community Room located at 300 North Mill Street. City residents will be voting for the position of mayor and two council positions. The polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. To inquire if you are registered to vote, or if you have questions about the election, contact the City Clerk at 989-681-2137, ext. 1050.

Small Town Family Christmas is Thurs. December 7

The Small Town Family Christmas Parade is Thursday December 7, 2023 at 6 PM! Starting at the corner of North Street and Mill Street (by Frosty Cone), the parade heads south two blocks to Saginaw and then east two blocks to end at the high school. October 31 Halloween Activities & Events

Trick-or-Treating in St. Louis is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31. Other events in the local community include multiple trunk-or-treat opportunities and a free candy safety check & hot dog cookout. Don’t forget to pick up your reflective trick-or-treat bags in advance during the St. Louis Police Department’s normal hours of operation. View fliers below for more information.

Downtown Trick-or-Treat! Thursday October 26, 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Downtown St. Louis businesses hold their own Trick or Treat hours, since they’re normally closed during traditional trick-or-treat hours. Children 12 and under are invited to visit participating downtown businesses between 3 and 5 p.m. on Thursday October 26th to receive candy! This year 37 businesses and organizations are participating.

St. Louis Homecoming Parade Friday October 6th at 5:30

Several blocks downtown will be closed to traffic beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday October 6th for the St. Louis High School Homecoming Parade. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and concludes before the football game begins at 6:30 p.m. The St. Louis Area Fire Department will host a Homecoming Tailgate celebrating their 150th anniversary immediately following the parade. The tailgate is at the fire hall located at at 220 S. Main Street.

Oak Grove Cemetery Fall Clean-up

October 2, 2023

All summer decorations and flowers must be removed from grave sites by October 15th. Winter decorations and flowers cannot be placed on grave sites until November 20th. This allows City crews time for clean up at the cemetery. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Fall leaf pick-up begins October 1

From October 1 to December 1, fall leaves at residential lots in the City of St. Louis can be raked loose to the curb for pickup. Do not rake leaf piles into the street or in any way obstruct traffic. Take care to make sure leaf piles do not include branches, twigs, other yard waste, or animal waste.
