The Old 27 Auto Tour will be roaring into St. Louis on Thursday, August 24th. During the M46 Water Main Replacement Project last year, the contractor removed and replaced some of the “stamped concrete” sidewalk affected by the construction. Over the winter, it was found that much of this sidewalk developed surface pitting. The Contractor will be removing and replacing this this new concrete sidewalk during the week of August 7 through August 11. Thank you for your patience.
In an effort to provide maintenance on Drain #104, an herbicide treatment is contracted to be sprayed on brush in certain areas. More than forty locations have opted to participate in the City’s annual city-wide garage sale weekend, which this year falls on Thursday July 13 through Saturday July 15th. Due to the holiday on Tuesday, 7/4, all residential services (trash, recycling, yard waste) that are a regular Tuesday – Friday service day, will be serviced one day later, if you have a Friday service day, we will be servicing this on Saturday, July 8. If you have a Monday service day, this will remain on Monday, 7/3.
Paving work on several City streets has been scheduled (please refer to map below). Some of the work on the blue streets will begin on Monday, June 12. While they are putting the sealant on the blue streets, there will be limited access and down to one lane. It takes about two hours or so to dry. Look for more information here or on the City’s Facebook page as future project days draw closer.
