Memorial Day Parade at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2024

All organizations, churches, youth groups, old cars, tractors and anyone who wishes to be in the parade are encouraged to do so. Line up starts at the St. Louis High School at 9:30 a.m. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Ceremonies are conducted along the parade route on the Mill Street Bridge and at Oak Grove Cemetery. A community lunch follows at the St. Louis VFW Post #3055 located at 1295 West Monroe Road (M46).

City Offices Closed Memorial Day

All City offices, including the T.A. Cutler Memorial Library, will be closed Monday, May 27, 2024, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The T.A. Cutler Memorial Library is also closed Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Joe Scholtz Memorial Fishing Derby Registration Is Open

Preregister for the Joe Scholtz Memorial Fishing Derby to be held on June 8, 2024 during Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend by filling out the online form at https://www.stlouismi.com/residents/events/fishing-derby/ or download and complete a copy of the form from this website or pick up a printed registration form from City Hall. Preregistration remains open until 1:00 p.m. on Friday June 7th.

Annual Hazardous Waste Program June 4, 5, & 6, 2024

The City of St. Louis along with the City of Alma will be holding its Annual Hazardous Waste Collection Program for 2024 on June 4th, 5th, & 6th. Solid Waste customers should call 989-463-8339 to schedule an appointment to drop off items such as batteries, paint, pesticides/herbicides and cleaning liquids at the Alma Public Services garage located at 800 Washing Street. Oak Grove Cemetery Information
