Construction Notice – Corinth Street

Crawford Contracting, Inc., on behalf of the City of St. Louis, would like to notify residents that they will be performing road reconstruction and water main installation on Corinth Street, from Olive Street north to Olney Ave, beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of July 31, 2026.

During construction, residents can expect:

  • Temporary road closures and detours
  • Limited access to driveways at times
  • Increased construction traffic in the area

Local traffic will be maintained as much as possible. Residents are encouraged to plan for delays and use alternate routes when available.

RE:       City-wide water main and road improvements
S. Mill Street

A new water main will be installed on S. Mill Street from State Street to Hazel Street with a start date of 05/26/2026 and an anticipated completion date of mid-August 2026. S. Mill Street will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. You will have access to your drive during construction except days we are working in front of your resident, and the onsite crew will coordinate when you will not have access. During concrete and asphalt installation, a letter will be sent out with more information prior to installation.  You will have water during construction.  A notice will be sent out prior to when we must change the water over to the new main and you will only lose water for part of that day.  Your water service will also have to be switched over to the new service at the curb shut off and you will lose water during service transfer that day.  On site crews will coordinate with residents when this happens.

Crawford Contracting, Inc., on behalf of the City of St. Louis, would like to notify residents that they will be performing road reconstruction and water main installation on Prospect Street, from North Main Street east to the DPW garage, beginning Monday, April 6, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of June 30, 2026.
During construction, residents can expect:

  • Temporary road closures and detours
  • Limited access to driveways at times
  • Increased construction traffic in the area

Local traffic will be maintained as much as possible. Residents are encouraged to plan for delays and use alternate routes when available.

DDA Informational Meetings

The City of St. Louis' Downtown Development Authority has scheduled their two semi-annual informational meetings for 2026, in accordance with PA 57 of 2018 requirements.

The St. Louis Downtown Development Authority will hold its public informational meeting on Thursday, May 7 and July 23 at 12:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers in City Hall.
