Keith Risdon, who oversees the operations of these departments, brings 25 years of experience as a municipal engineering consultant along with 10 years of experience in the private development field to the City staff.

The City of St. Louis Public Services Director supervises the City's Municipal Electric Department, the Public Works Department (DPW) and the Water & Wastewater Department. These three departments oversee the electric grid, storm sewer system, roads and alleyways, sidewalks, water mains, and sanitary sewers within the City boundaries as well as the wastewater treatment plant. You will also encounter City personnel maintaining the cemetery, the various City parks and the municipal pool.
